As we’ve learned more about pesticides and all the chemical preservatives that are in our food supply, we’ve also learned of the many side effects of ingesting all of this stuff. Body detoxification is one avenue for ridding ourselves of all of these poisons and getting our bodies back on track. This is important so that we can feel better and lead more active lives which contributes to weight loss and an overall sense of wellbeing.

  • A clean bill of healthy from your doctor
  • A detox product such as Colonix
  • Healthy organic foods
  1. Step 1

    Before embarking on any type of fast or detox program it is important to check with your doctor to make sure you are in good enough health. You also want to make sure the detox and cleansing process won’t cause any adverse reactions with any medications you might be taking or cause complications with and illness you might have.

  2. Step 2

    In preparation for the detox program, modify your eating habits to be as organic as possible. Cut out refined sugars, junk food, fast food and any other type of processed foods. Focus on making sure you are getting good nutrition via the 5 food groups. You’ll want to give yourself a chance to be used to eating this way for a couple of weeks before you start your detox.

    You’ll want to purchase a product to help you with the actual detox process. There are many available both in health stores and on the internet. I used a product called Colonix and Toxinout that can be purchased via a website www.drnatura.com . There is lots of information and plenty of testimonials to read about the product at their website. The product worked well for me but what works for one may not work the same for another so do your research and make sure to get what is going to be best for you.

  4. Step 4

    Follow the instructions for the detox to the letter along with keeping up with the new healthy eating habits. By eating healthy and organic you will help whatever product you use perform better and your body will clear out. The program I used is a minimum of 30-days and a maximum of 90-days depending upon your needs. I used it for 60-days.

  5. Step 5

    Once you have completed the process try not to revert back to old habits. Instead try to make the healthy organic way of eating your mainstay and see how you feel. I have found that I have more energy, my skin is nice and clear, my digestive system is clear and doesn’t give me fits anymore and I sleep better than ever at night. Also make sure that you get some type of exercise routine established for yourself. Weight loss is a natural result of clearing the body, eating well, exercising and resting well and will bring you an overall sense of wellbeing.
