Instructions

    • 1

Open up all available windows or insure that there is proper ventilation in and around the room. Turn on all available ceiling fans.

    • 2

Make sure that your acid stained concrete floor has had plenty of time to dry before applying the sealer.

    • 3

Shake the can of Minwax sealer to mix the contents thoroughly. This product is oil-based and is recommended for woodwork, furniture, doors, cabinets and floors.

    • 4

Assemble the super smooth paint roller refill onto the paint roller.

    • 5

Place the paint tray liner in the paint tray. Pour in a liberal amount of the sealer.

    • 6

Begin by sealing only the outside perimeter of the room with the large paint brush. Make your way around the whole room. Seal a strip around each wall that is at least three inches wide. This will prevent you from rolling the paint roller too closely to the wall leaving a sealer stain on your paint job. This step is more important if you have already painted your room or placed the baseboards.

Now onto the rest of the room. Make sure you begin working in an area furthest away from your exit point. Dip the paint roller into the sealer. Roll the roller along the top of the paint tray to remove extra sealer. You don't want any drips.

Begin to roll the sealer onto your acid stained floor working in small areas until the whole floor is completely sealed. Some bubbling is normal and these some of these bubbles will dissipate as they dry. However, at thi point it is best to have that extra person handy to smooth out the bubbles using the large pait brush. Be sure they use large sweeping motions when smoothing.

Make sure to not apply too much sealer. Make sure you are getting a uniform application.

    • 10

Let the first coat dry completely and then apply a second coat using the steps above.

Enjoy your beautiful acid stained concrete floor for years to come.
