How to have closeness in your family

All families have their share of problems but it is important for families to remain close.

Things You'll Need:

  • kind heart
  • forgiveness
  • compassion
  1. Step 1

    Make everyday moments count. The ride to and from school, dinnertime, tv time, bath time. Make those things you do everyday count.

  2. Step 2

    Watch your words. We all say things we regret. Try to speak cordially and respectfully of each other.

  3. Step 3

    Reach out and touch. Hug each other, hold each other,even kiss each other.

  4. Step 4

    Make memories. Family vacations,picnics, school trips.

  5. Step 5

    Create more couple time. Even if it is only a few hours a week. Make time just for the two of you.

  6. Step 6

    Have one-on-one time with the kids. Children need special solo time with each parent. One night a week plan something to do with each child.

  7. Step 7

    Lend a hand. When any family member is in trouble(extended family as well) find out what you can do to help to make the load alittle easier. Have your family's BACK

  8. Step 8

    Keep them laughing. Humor goes a long way.

  9. Step 9

    Gather round the table. Take time out to have family meals at the table.

  10. Step 10

    Have fun. Make a conscious efort to do enjoyable activities together. Ride bikes, play ball, take walks.
