My kids love these pancakes! After making these delicious, yet easy pancakes from scratch, I can never ever go back to the box mixes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  1. Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk together.

  2. Step 2

Add the egg and butter to the flour mixture. Mix well.

  3. Step 3

Heat a lightly greased griddle or skillet over medium high heat.

  4. Step 4

Pour pancakes using a 1/4 cup. Let cook until the pancakes are bubbly and dry on the edges. Flip over and cook 1 to 2 minutes more.

  5. Step 5

    Serve hot!

on 7/29/2009 YUMMM I am going to try these in the morning for the girls and I. Craving pancakes and don't have mix, why not make my own? :)
