You can plan a secret Santa gift exchange for your class or office Christmas party. Getting started is easy and the results are a joyful and entertaining holiday party that builds friendships and strengthens group relations.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • sign-up sheet
  • Holiday or Christmas party
  1. Step 1

Determine if you should place a spending limit on gifts. Depending upon the average incomes of your group, a $5 or $20 limit will ensure that everyone gets a gift similar in value to the gift they have received.

  2. Step 2

Hang a sign-up sheet in a prominent place so that everyone who is interested in participating can sign up for the gift exchange. If you plan to assume participation, just sign everyone up yourself and have everyone draw names to see who everyone will be buying gifts for.

  3. Step 3

Make sure there's an empty table at your holiday party so that people can place their gifts discreetly. Once all of the guests have arrived, Secret Santa gifts are distributed and people may or may not confess.
