How to defragment a hard drive in Windows XP

If your PC is running slow your hard drive may need defragged.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Double click on My Computer.

  2. Step 2
    My Computer/Properties
    My Computer/Properties

    Right click on C: Drive and goto properties.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the Tools tab.

  4. Step 4

    Click Defragment Now

  5. Step 5

    Click Defragment

  6. Step 6

    When it completes simply close the window.
