You truly can make the memories last by recycling that lovely birthday floral arrangement from Aunt Jane into gorgeous potpourri!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dried fresh floral arrangement
  • Scissors
  • Pretty bowl or other container
  • Esential oil or perfume
  1. Step 1

    Dead Floral Arrangement

    As flowers begin to fade and wilt, remove water from vase and place floral arrangement out of sight in a cool dry room or other area.

  2. Step 2

    When flowers are well dried out, remove each flower from the stem by snipping with scissors. Discard stems and any unattractive flowers.

  3. Step 3
    Finished Potpourri
    Finished Potpourri

    Arrange flowers in a pretty bowl or other dish. Add fragrance to your potpourri by drizzling a few drops of desired essential oil over flowers or spritz with your favorite cologne. Enjoy your beautiful homemade potpourri!
