Yoga classes will help ease your stress, relax your mind, body & soul. In addition you'll build strength, increase flexibility & lose weight. Following are some tips to help you enjoy your yoga classes.

    You don't want to be distracted, or distract anybody else, during your yoga classes.

    Comfortable clothing will help you be able to relax.

    Wear comfortable loose fitting (but well fitting) clothing.

    This includes a well fitting shirt. Certain yoga positions will require your head to be lower than your body, and you don't want your shirt hanging over your head during this.

    This will allow you to center yourself better, and will prevent slipping.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always be quiet & respectful during your yoga class.
  • Avoid baggy clothing.
  • If possible, purchase your own yoga mat. This will be more sanitary than if you share one.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • If a certain position hurts, ask your yoga instructor for alternative positions.
