Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Razor Drying cloth Petroleum jelly Cold cream Cotton swabs
  1. Step 1

Once you've finished shaving, make sure the blades are completely clean. Rinse the blades thoroughly.

  2. Step 2

Dry the blades gently. Use a clean, dry cloth to absorb any water. Don't rub back and forth as this will dull the blade or blades.

  3. Step 3

Dip the tip of a clean cotton swab into a jar of petroleum jelly or cold cream.

  4. Step 4

Coat the razor blades with the petroleum jelly or cold cream. Coating the blades prevents air from coming into contact with the blades and causing rust.

  5. Step 5

Store your razor or shaver where it won't become wet in between uses.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never use a rusty razor. Dispose of the razor immediately. Always be careful when handling razors and blades. You could cut yourself. Never try the above steps with an electric shaver.
