You can take a plain votive holder and turn it into one of your favorite Easter decorations. Decorated eggs aren't only for the basket. You can quickly and easily make these candle holders that will last for years to come, and they are very inexpensive.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Clear glass votive cups Paint made for glass Fine paintbrush Craft foam Craft glue
  1. Step 1

Cut out two little baskets from the foam. Draw lines on the basket to make it look weaved. Hold it on the votive and outline the inside of it with a marker for spacing and then set it aside.

  2. Step 2

Paint four Easter eggs on the glass--one inside each basket and larger ones between them. Paint on the decorations as you would decorated a regular Easter egg.

  3. Step 3

Take a fine-point paintbrush and write "Happy Easter" around the top of the votive. Allow all the paint to dry for about 2 hours.

  4. Step 4

Glue on the two baskets so the smaller eggs look like they are inside them. Place a candle in the holder and light.
