How to Convert Video Files to Play on a BlackBerry
Although all current BlackBerry models support video playback, format restrictions make it very hard to get your videos onto the device. However, there is a way around the restrictive format that will allow you to watch your movies, music videos and more on your Blackberry.

Gather all of your video files in a central folder on your desktop. Plug your Memory Stack Micro into your computer, either via a USB cable or direct port.

Open your browser and go to the Format Factory website (see Resources). Download and install the Format Factory software.

Launch Format Factory and go to the left taskbar. Click on the "Mobile Device" tab and select the "All to BlackBerry MP4" icon. A pop-up window will open.

Select your BlackBerry screen resolution from the pull-down menu at the top of the window. If you are unsure of your screen's resolution, consult your owner's manual.

Click on the "Add file" button, then select all the media you transferred into your desktop folder. Once you have finished adding content, click the "OK" button. The new files will be downloaded to the new folder.

Go to "My Computer" and select your BlackBerry memory device. Go into your mainframe folder and select the "Videos" folder. Keep this window open.

Go to your desktop media folder and highlight your converted media. Drag and drop it into your "Videos" folder on your BlackBerry. Remove the Memory Stick and plug it back in to your BlackBerry. You will now be able to access your videos through your BlackBerry media center.

Tips & Warnings
Even though the BlackBerry MP4 file format is highly compressed, long video files are still quite large; you'll want at least 2GB of space on a memory card for video files.
Do not put copyrighted material from the Internet on your BlackBerry. It is illegal and will void your warranty.
