Watching a master talk and move the pieces around the board can be very beneficial when learning something new, and the rule is the same for chess. Whether you want to study an opening, tactics or the endgame, there is a chess video out there to help instruct you.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to "File," "Open" and "Chess Media File" in the toolbar on Fritz. This will open up a separate box and allow you to browse your computer for whatever chess media file you want to watch (see Resources below to purchase a copy of Fritz).

  2. Step 2

Browse the computer until you find the chess media to be watched, then either select it and press the "Open" button, or simply double-click on the lecture thumbnail itself.

  3. Step 3

Watch the lecture. If the media screen is not big enough, close the moves list window below it. Further resizing can be done by dragging the edges of the media box.
