How to Beat the Shadow Mission in "Grand Theft Auto 4"
You can receive this mission from Little Jacob. Seek him out and speak with him when you feel like completing it. This is an unorthodox mission, as it has a stealth component. There is also a bit of combat - make sure you are ready for close range combat with ammo, health and armor. You won't be paid for completing this mission, but you will unlock Badman as a random character and activate Little Jacob's Drug Delivery side missions.

Head to Little Jacob's hangout and speak with him.

"Find" a vehicle and head to South Bohan, where you will find the dealer. The location will be marked on your mini-map.

Follow the drug dealer. He will begin his trek back to his base of operations

Follow the drug dealer into the apartment building. You will be near the end of the chase when you do.

Head up to the fifth floor. If you hit the roof you've gone too far. You will know you have the right apartment because there is a gun sitting on the floor outside of it.

Pick up the gun. You should have enough ammo already, but a little bit more never hurts.

Shoot the lock on the door. It will alert the drug dealers inside, but unfortunately it is the only way in.

Take cover in the hallway.

Waste the thugs inside the apartment. There are three, and they are close, so stay in cover and only pop out briefly to shoot.

Tips & Warnings
The micro-SMG can be useful during the fight with the drug dealers. Keep a mental image of where the drug dealers are in the apartment. Position your cross-hairs there, as if you were going to shoot through the wall you are using for cover. When you pop out, your cross hair will be very close to your target, if not right on, making for a quicker kill and less exposure for you.
You will receive a call from Roman as you are exiting the first ally. When you are approaching this point, hang back and cancel the call as soon as you get it.
