How to Clean Soap Scum From Shower Doors

Nothing is more unsightly than a buildup of soap scum on the shower door. If left alone for a number of days, soap scum seems to infiltrate the shower. Stay ahead of the game by wiping the entire shower dry after each use. If the soap scum has already covered the shower door, read on to find out how to remove it.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Glass cleaner 2 towels
  1. Step 1

    Dampen the Mr. Clean Eraser. Do not let it soak in water.

  2. Step 2

    Using the Eraser, remove soap scum from the door by moving the Eraser in a circular motion, working from top to bottom and side to side.

  3. Step 3

    Using a wet towel, wipe the shower door dry, removing any buildup remaining on the door.

  4. Step 4

    Spray shower doors with a glass cleaner, such as Windex.

  5. Step 5

    Wipe the shower doors dry with a large, absorbent towel.

Tips & Warnings
  • To prevent soap scum from reoccuring, clean doors weekly.
  • Always ventilate the bathroom when using any type of cleaning product.
