Instructions

    • 1

Soak a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Squeeze the cotton ball so that it isn't dripping, but still very moist.

    • 2

Dab at the ink stain with the alcohol-soaked cotton ball. Don't rub, as it may smear the ink across the leather or vinyl.

    • 3

Dry the area gently with a towel when the ink is mostly removed.

    • 4

Check the area for streaks of ink. Re-wet a new cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and dab at any smears. Dry those areas with the towel.

    • 5

Sponge off the treated area with a small amount of water and dry.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the rubbing alcohol doesn't work, try repeating the same process with hairspray. The hairspray will leave a film on the furniture.
