Step 1
Arrive hungry. Uncle Sam's serves huge portions. Plan to spend $20 at lunch for two or $30 at dinner with a glass of beer or other beverage apiece. As you enter, you'll see the cooks at work creating pizzas and Italian specialties at the built-in ovens just to the left of the front door. Check out the wooden Uncle Sam statue out front, too.
-
Step 2
Sample ham-and-cheese stromboli or a massive calzone stuffed with sausage and lots of gooey cheese. Try one of the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches which are just like the back-East versions. If you're not afraid of a little heat, order a dozen of the spicy chicken wings, and be prepared with a pitcher of beer or ice tea. Of course, pizza is another specialty here, with about a dozen varieties served on thick or thin crust.
-
Step 3
Play a game of Pac-Man while you're waiting for your order to arrive, or load up the jukebox with your favorite music. The noise level can be high at peak times, so don't come expecting a quiet experience. This is a place to laugh, socialize and have fun.

Step 4
Sit at the bar located in the back of the eatery if you're dining solo, or if you are in a hurry and don't want to wait for a table. Order a pizza to go for your next at-home movie night and avoid the rush. Visit the other Uncle Sam's locations in Arrowhead Ranch in Glendale, or in north Scottsdale.
