3. Fill the stocking with a couple of computer games. Even with console systems like the Nintendo Wii and PS3, the computer still remains a popular platform to play video games on and popular games like the Sims 2 remain best sellers for the computer.

4. Get a small jump drive to place in the stocking. USB jump drives or flash drives are convenient little tools used to store data and transfer it from one computer to another without much of a hassle. There are several different sizes and you could purchase a jump drive for as little as 10 dollars.

5. Spend a lot of money and get a stocking-sized computer in the form of a Blackberry or PDA. These gadgets actually feature versions of Windows and can help organize a person's life, although they can cost hundreds of dollars.
