How to Create Your Own Robot Avatar

To learn how to create your own fun avatars, you can start with a robot avatar. It has easy-to-create shapes, and it takes no real technical expertise. All you need is some art software.

Things You'll Need

• Corel Painter or Adobe Photoshop

Instructions

1. Create a new project that is 1 inch by 1 inch.

2. Magnify the workspace until the project is big enough for you to work with.

3. Select a square paintbrush or the square shape creator.

4. Choose the color you want your robot to be.

5. Create a square shape for the head and a larger one for the body.

6. Use a circle brush or the circle creator to create arms and legs. Overlap the circles to get the best effect.

7. 

   Add details such as eyes and mouth with freestyle brushes.

Tips & Warnings

• Use very little detail. Simple shapes show up best in avatars.
