Lake Havasu City, home to the famous London Bridge, is located on the Arizona shore of Lake Havasu. Lake Havasu, a portion of the Colorado River, is situated on the border of Arizona and California. The lake is popular with boaters, water skiers, fishermen and outdoorsmen. Visitors can rent vacation rental homes through local real estate offices, stay at local motels or RV and campground facilities.         Watch the firework display each February in Lake Havasu City. WinterBlast, sponsored by the Western Pyrotechnics Association, is a spectacular fireworks display that has been coming to Lake Havasu City since 1990.

        Enjoy one of the many festivals, concerts and special events slated throughout the year. The local Tourism Bureau includes a calendar of event (see Resources below).

        Participate in one of the many fishing tournaments scheduled throughout the year. Non-tournament fishing is also available, including fishing docks located along the shoreline. Local fishing includes crappy, catfish, bass and strippers.

        Attend a Rodeo at Lake Havasu City's Sara Park during the cooler months.

        Get in the Christmas or Holiday spirit by visiting from November through January. During this time, the community sponsors the annual Festival of Lights, where some million lights decorate the London Bridge and English Village. Also slated for this season is the Annual Boat Parade of Lights through the Bridgewater Channel and under the London Bridge.

        Visit the local Museum located at 320 London Bridge Road, open weekday afternoons. Exhibits include local Native American and Natural History, along with the history of the London Bridge and more.

        Rent a boat, skis or personal watercraft from one of the many rental facilities located in Lake Havasu City. Typically, the season for swimming begins around Spring Break and ends in October.

        Enjoy the classic car show at the annual Relics and Rods Run to the Sun. Each October hundreds of classic cars gather for this popular car show.

        Golf year-round at one of the many golf courses, including the lake-side Arnold Palmer course at the Refuge.

        Attend the theater at Lake Havasu City's Grace Art Live, located on Main Street at 2146 McCulloch Blvd. Live performances include plays and musicals (see Resources below).
