Sharpen a Boker Knife

The Boker knife brand is connected to a 17th century German tool-making company. In 1829, the Boeker family began making sabers. The business expanded, and by the late 1800's, the founders of the company emigrated to the United States. Today, Boker sports knives are considered to be high quality tools by both collectors and sportsmen. A recommended sharpening tool is the Boker Vulkanus sharpener, which includes spring loaded rods which are designed to adjust to the edge of the blade. The rods, which are positioned in an X shape, include carbide flats to sharpen the knife blade.
