Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Finely ground sea salt
  • corn or olive oil
  • your favorite essential oil
  • small jar(baby food jar)
  • spoon
  • plastic wrap(optional)
  • label
  • permanent marker
  • ribbon
  • small mixing bowl
  • small plastic funnel
  1. Step 1

    1. Combine the sea salt, olive or corn oil, and 3 to 4 drops of your favorite essential oil into a small mixing bowl.
Using the spoon, stir these ingredients together and add more sea salt or corn/olive oil until you reach your desired consistency.

  2. Step 2

    3. Place the small funnel in the small jar (baby food jar) and pour your sea salt mixture into the small jar. Seal the jar tightly.

  3. Step 3

Write a holiday greeting, the recipient's name, and your name on the label. You may also create printed labels on your computer. Be creative!
Place the label on the small jar and place a ribbon around the neck of the jar. (To avoid leaking of contents: you may wrap the jar with plasic wrap before placing the ribbon on the jar.)

Tips & Warnings
  • Holiday favorite essential oils include: peppermint, cinnamon, and lavender. Other essential oils that cost more include: myrrh, frankinsense, and chammomile.
  • Do not use sea salt scrub over comprimised skin such as cuts, burns, and bruises.
  • Avoid using on the face and eyes.
