Stuffed filet of sole, stuffed shrimp, stuffed peppers, stuffed shells, ever hear of stuffed tomatoes? They are healthy, easy to make and so good.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 large tomatoes
  • olive oil
  • 2 palmfulls of bread crumbs
  • 1 palmful of grated cheese
  • 1 pound of sirloin and pork mixed
  • 1 can of tomatoes (stewed)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed and chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Step 1

    Take your tomatoes and slice the top off. Discarding the tops because you won't need them.

  2. Step 2

    place into a deep baking dish.

  3. Step 3

    In a skillet, add a bit of olive oil. Than add in garlic and your meat. The meat should take about 10 minutes to brown. Add a bit of salt and pepper and stir. Now add tomatoes to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.

  4. Step 4

    Take your meat mixture and start filling the tomatoes.

  5. Step 5

    Top with breadcrumbs and cheese. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on top and at the bottom of the pan.

  6. Step 6

    Bake for an hour on 350. Serve as a side dish or as a starter before a dinner party. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two also. Enjoy.
