Having a snowball fight is a fun way to let off some steam and beat cabin fever. Here's a fun way to have a snowball fight indoors, when snow is scarce. This is a great way to get your kids up and moving. (They probably have something similar for Wii, but with this version you can move around the house).

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fiberfill (used for stuffing pillows - can be found in craft stores)
  1. Step 1

Purchase a bag or two of fiberfill. This product is typically used for stuffing pillows and stuffed animals. You can find it in craft stores (Michael's, etc.) in the sewing department.

  2. Step 2

Gather the troops, and set up your teams. You can create indoor forts and a "base" using chairs, blankets, tables, and so on.

  3. Step 3

Open the package and separate the fiberfill into several small bunches, (typical snowball size).

  4. Step 4

Have fun! Although the real stuff is always best, this snowball fight will not result in injuries or frostbite, and children will really enjoy the idea of having a snowball fight indoors.

Tips & Warnings
  • For extra fun, you can wear hats, mittens, etc.
  • You can also surprise your children with a sneak attack to initiate the fun.
  • When you're finished, save the fiberfill in a large plastic bag.
  • Another option is to use white balloons. Blow up several balloons until they are approximately the size of a snowball.
  • Be warned! If your children make snowballs that are too small, or start shredding the fiberfill, you will have a mess on your hands. If that happens, you can have them pretend to be snow plows to clean it up when you're done.
