Here's how to make a quick Santa Christmas ornament to hang on your Christmas tree this year.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A round wooden ball for Santa's head (available from your local craft store)
  • Cotton balls
  • A set of wiggle eyes (available from your craft store)
  • A piece of ribbon or string for hanging
  • Craft paint in a skin tone shade
  • Craft glue
  1. Step 1

Paint the entire surface of your wooden ball with craft paint in a fleshy, skin tone shade. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.

  2. Step 2

Using your craft glue, apply a dot of glue to each wiggle eye and attach it to the front of the wooden ball to serve as Santa's eyes.

  3. Step 3

Gently tear off a portion of the white cotton and glue it to the painted wooden ball just below the wiggle eyes to serve as Santa's white beard.

  4. Step 4

Add a portion of your cotton ball to the top of the wooden ball just above Santa's eyes to serve as his fluffy hat brim. Alternatively, you can buy a pre-made miniature Santa's hat at your local craft store and glue it to the top of Santa's head.

  5. Step 5

Glue the string or ribbon to the back of the wooden ball which serves as Santa's head so you can hang it on the Christmas tree.

Tips & Warnings
  • This Santa Christmas ornament project is so quick and easy that you can make multiple Santa's to cover your Christmas tree with good cheer. They make great stocking stuffers and can serve as small gifts for friends and relatives.
  • You can enhance your Santa even more by adding gluing several long red ribbon strands or a big red tassel to the base of the wooden ball to give your Santa Christmas ornament more color and interest.
