Step 1
this is the bath houseYou should never have to bathe a hamster, except for emergencies only. For example one of my hamsters excaped and got stuck to a sticky trap for vermin and had to be washed then partly shaved. The only hamsters that might enjoy a 'bath' is the Syrian Long-haired Hamster, a.k.a. Teddy Bear Hamster, but it is not a bath as you're use to. It's a dust bath to help with dematting their fur and it's available at any pet store.
-
Step 2
If your hamster does need a bath for some reason, such as the got sticky, use a soft bristle toothbrush and warm water and gently scrub them in the area that needs it only.
-
Step 3
Never give your hamster a full bath because, compared to their body size they do not dry fast enough and will most likely get pneumonia.
