How to Create an Edgy Braided Headband Hairstyle

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• bobbypins (the same color as your hair
• a comb
• a hair elastic (the same color as your hair)
• hairspray

1. TEASE IT
   Use comb to tease hair at crown, about 3" back from hairline.

2. SECTION IT
   Start with the hair above one ear. Grab a braidable section- about 1".

3. BRAID IT
   Separate your clump into three sections and french braid a 2"-3" wide band of hair along your hairline from ear to ear.

4. KEEP GOING
   This step is optional. If your hair is long, keep going along you forehead, then past your ear and braid in the hair on the back of you head. Otherwise, you can pin the braid behind your ear and leave the rest of your hair long and wavy.

5. PIN UP
   Push at least four bobby-pins into the sides and top of braid, so that they are not visible. Keep pinning until secure.

6. FINISHING TOUCHES
   Check out the back of your do, using a hand mirror. You have options: 1)leave the back long and loose, 2)twist and pin the back into a loose braided bun or 3)Secure the back into a low ponytail.
   Check the front of your do: Take out a few pieces of face facing framing bangs. Make it look nice, girl.

7. SPRAY IT
   Pretty!
