Grocery coupons

There are lots of ways to find grocery coupons and use them to save you money on food each week. Many stores take them as well. These are a few steps to help you find grocery coupons and help save you money.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Coupon section inside newspaper
    Coupon section inside newspaper

Local newspapers have grocery coupons inside them on Saturdays and Sundays. If you don't buy a paper go check it out and clip coupons to save money by all means! The small cost of a paper is recouped after using 1 coupon!

  2. Step 2

There are lots of website that offer printable coupons that many stores take. I've been told by our local grocery stores that as long as a printable coupon is not offering something completely free they will accept them. Call ahead and see what your stores allow. See below for some great website links to printable coupons!

  3. Step 3

Go online to a particular grocery brand's website, and they may have printable coupons offered as well for their products. For example www.pillsbury.com always has coupons for customers. Make a list of products that you buy and look for that brand online. Sign up for newsletters and emails and you'll always get coupons!

  4. Step 4

Which brings me to my next step, certain brands put out little magazines or coupon books that you can sign up for and receive in the mail. A great one is Very Best Kids by Nestle. Go to VBK.com/online and sign up to receive there newsletter. Inside you'll find lots of great tips and ideas for cooking but you will also find lots of coupons as well.

  5. Step 5

Check around to other stores besides your local grocery store to see who else accepts manufacturer coupons. Our Target, CVS and Kmart all accept coupons! Think about the places you buy grocery items. It never hurts to ask and it will certainly save you lots of money if they say yes!

on 10/30/2008 My dental office has a box where patients bring unwanted coupons and leave for others. While waiting for your appointment you take what you can use. Great concept!
