Follow these steps to experience the Filipino culture in a day or two. This guide is for short trips or for those who want to jump start their Filipino culture shock.

    Ride a Jeepney! There's nothing like riding side by side and face to face next to strangers. If you're really tall you might opt to ride it by hanging on the back or on top, sitting inside will make kiss your knees and the person in front of you.

    Eat Balut! Filipino lore says that eating balut will increase virility. Balut is a boiled duck duck or chicken egg close to hatching. The look and smell might turn you away but many people say it tastes great.
