How to Make Strawberry Sauce

Dress up any breakfast dish or dessert with this tasty sauce

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, hulled, or 4 c frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 T pure maple syrup
  1. Step 1

    Place strawberries in a food processor and process them into a chunky puree.

  2. Step 2

    Transfer the puree into a small saucepan over low heat and heat just until warm.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in the lemon juice and maple syrup.

  4. Step 4

    Pour over pancakes and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

Tips & Warnings
  • Makes 1 1/2 cups
  • serving size 1/3 cups
