How to make a cheesecake chocolate pudding dessert

This is a recipe that I have been making for several years and EVERYBODY loves it! It consist of peanut butter cookies, cheesecake filling, chocolate pudding and coolwhip. IT'S ABSOLUTELY YUMMY!!!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 container phillycheese premade filling (or if you have your own recipe for a cheesecake filling, use it!)
  • 1 dozen peanut butter cookies (I like to make them from scratch or buy premade)
  • 1 large package chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 container of coolwhip (larger size)
  1. Step 1

    1. Preheat oven according to packaged directions and bake your peanut butter cookies according to the package directions.

  2. Step 2

    2. Once cookies are baked and cooled, or if you have bought pre made cookies, crumble cookies into crumbs. (SAVE 1-2 cookies for topping)

  3. Step 3

    3. Pour melted butter over cookie crumbs and form into a crust into the bottom of pan or dish of choice.

  4. Step 4

    4. smooth cream cheese filling over the cookie crust.

  5. Step 5

    5. Mix chocolate pudding according to box directions, once smooth, pour over and spread evenly over cream cheese filling layer.

  6. Step 6

    6. Add the cool whip topping over the chocolate pudding layer smoothing out evenly as well.

  7. Step 7

    7. Crumble the saved cookies from step 2 over the top of the cool whip layer.

  8. Step 8

    8. Refrigerate for about an hour. This is best when served chilled!!!

  9. Step 9

    9. ENJOY!!!!!!

  • THIS RECIPE CALLS FOR PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES, MAKE SURE THAT WHOM EVER EATS THIS DOES NOT HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO PEANUTS.
