Little Big Planet is one of the newest hit games for the Playstation 3 which introduces a new concept to video games. You have the option to build your own worlds and levels and let everyone in the Playstation network try your own board and rate it.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Playstation 3
Little Big Planet Game
Internet Connection

Step 1

Select a type of world you would like to make. You can make your game a puzzle, adventure, or anything that your imagination can think up of. You can even create a board that is seasonal for the holidays.
Step 2

Play traditional boards, tutorials, and other online boards to earn materials and decorations for your own board. You can make everything from scratch, or earn things from other people to help you along the way.
Step 3

Choose a template for your board. You can start with a blank screen, or choose from one of the preset backgrounds. It all depends on how much time you want to spend on your board, as some can take weeks to create depending on how much stuff you want in your board.
Step 4

Create obstacles to complete. You can have a fun level with a race car, or you can have people swinging through trees in a jungle theme. The amount of possibilities are endless in your own Little Big Planet world.
Step 5

Publish your world to the Little Big Planet World. Let others play your board and rate it. You can have up to 3 boards online at a time, and you can revamp them at anytime, or delete them and start from scratch.

on 12/26/2008 A lot of the worlds built by the online community are really amazing. I'm not a very creative person, so I give these folks kudos for all the time and effort spent on making so many great places for us to play. The Japanese seem to have some of the best stuff! If you don't own this game and are thinking of buying it, it's worth it just for the gaming in the online community!! WARNING: It's very addictive (and I'm 40)!!
