It is not too late to find the perfect Halloween costume for an upcoming party or night on the town.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check your local Goodwill store. Goodwill sells great, affordable costume sets, but they also sell wonderful vintage pieces that can be used to create a cool costume.

  2. Step 2

Check your closet. Think about how you can use items you already have to make a costume. For instance, do you have a trenchcoat? Maybe you can go as a detective. Do you have a big puffed up skirt? You can go as a 50s girl.

  3. Step 3

Check and see what accessories you already have. Headbands are perfect for creating cat ears and lady bug antennas. Use construction paper to create the ears etc. and tape them with clear tape onto your headband.

  4. Step 4

Ask your friends if they have any good costume recommendations. They might even have a costume you can borrow. Maybe you can go as a pair or group costume. Good ideas include President/Vice President, the Fanta girls, and Bradgelina.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be creative! Unleash your inner child, and enjoy dressing up!
  • Don't spend tons of money. Remember it is not how much you spend, but how much fun you have in your costume!
