Affiliate marketing is probably one of the easiest ways a stay at home mom can start making money from home. A successful affiliate marketer can easily make thousands of dollars every month. The problem is not all of them are honest and reliable.

Commission Junction (cj.com) is a great network. I have been with them for years. It is free to join. They pay on time and they keep an accurate account of all commissions owed to you. They basically act as a middle man between the publisher (you) and the advertisers.

This is one of the networks that will want you to have a website before they approve you. Once you are approved you can start promoting the programs in the network. CJ.com deals with famous advertisers such as Travelocity, Priceline, weight watchers and many many more.

Clickbank is a very well known affiliate network. They are one of the biggest, if not the biggest, seller of digital products online. They have over 10,000 products for you to promote. It is easy to join and they do not require that you have a website.

Linkshare is another great affiliate network. They have more than 600 merchants just waiting for you to promote their products. Some of their famous merchants include Dell, Wal-Mart, Petsmart and many others.

on 5/31/2009 Thanks for the helpful information. I do have one concern though. I went to the Linkshare site and they asked me for my social security number. I have read so many warnings about giving out personal information so I didn't proceed. What is you opinion about these sites asking for this peronal information?
