Looking for clearer, younger-looking skin? Well, this is a little technique that I put together to keep my skin looking smoother, brighter and clearer. The coconut oil will nourish your skin and prevent the development of free radicals. The sea salt will tighten your pores. The cane sugar will remove dead skin cells and promote new cell growth. Since using my homemade scrub, I have actually received compliments that I seem to be "glowing." Give it a try!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sea Salt
  • Cane Sugar (Unrefined Sugar)
  • Coconut Oil (or Water)
  1. Step 1

Mix one part cane sugar and one part sea salt into a bowl.

  2. Step 2

Add about 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to your mixture. (If you don't have any coconut oil, simply add the same amount of water to the mixture). Continue adding coconut oil (or water) to your mixture until you have formed a paste. Do not put too much liquid into the mixture as it may cause the cane sugar and/or sea salt to begin to dissolve. Remember, this is supposed to be a scrub!

  3. Step 3

Use your homemade mixture to exfoliate your skin as you would with any other scrub. Place the scrub on your fingertips or on a clean washcloth and apply to skin in gentle, circular motions. Follow with a gentle rinse.

  4. Step 4

    Glow! You deserve to.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use this scrub all over your body! Yum!
