Things You'll Need:
- Computer and internet connection
- Horse drawings, sculptures or paintings you made yourself
- Digital camera to photograph works
-
Step 1
Analyze your work in light of the competition. Does you artwork stand out as unique or special? How would you categorize it - realistic, modern, post modern? Know how to describe your art and artistic style.
-
Step 2
Take the best photographs you can of your work. Take photos of sculptures from various angles, including both sides, front and back. For prints and paintings, be sure pictures are clear.
-
Step 3
Write up a description of the works, including size, year created, medium and edition information. Write up a brief resume of your artistic accomplishments too.
-
Step 4
Find companies willing to represent new artists or places to sell your online artwork. Etsy is an online shopping site for artists and artisans that may be a good outlet. EquinArt Creations is an online retailer of equine art that accepts new artists.
