Want to make a delicious frozen drink for your next outdoor party? This frozen tequila limeade is a great treat for any party.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • tequila
  • blender
  • ice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh cold lime juice
  • 1 lime zested
  • 2 1/2 cups cold water
  • lime wedges for garnish
  1. Step 1

Make a simple syrup by combining sugar and water in a small saucepan over high heat, bring to a boil and cook until the sugar melts, transfer to a bowl set over a bowl of ice and stir to cool down. (you can also buy simple syrup in most stores if you don't want to make it.)

  2. Step 2

Place the lime juice, zest and water in a bowl, add the sugar syrup, to taste and stir together. This is your limeade.

  3. Step 3

Fill a blender with 2 cups of the limeade, 1/4 to 1/2 cup of tequila (depending on your taste) and 1 cup of crushed ice. Blend until combined.

  4. Step 4

Pour into tall glasses. Repeat with the remaining limeade. Garnish with lime wedge
