Things You'll Need:
- an unbaked pie shell
- 1 1/2 cups canned or cooked pumpkin
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- whipped cream to top pie when served

Step 1
pumpkinsIf using a frozen, already prepared, pie shell, thaw and have ready. Or, if you prefer make your own pie shell.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. -
Step 2
brown sugarIn a large mixing bowl, mix the pumpkin with the brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses.

farm fresh eggAdd the three slightly beaten eggs, and the 1 cup evaporated milk, and mix thoroughly.

pumpkin piePour into unbaked, unpricked pie shell.
Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean. -
Step 5
perfectServe pie with a topping of whipped cream, or serve plain if you prefer.
