Need a gift idea that can last all year long? Why not create one? A calendar with personal photos is one idea but some web sites have other ideas like a deck of playing cards, coasters or even a blanket all with the picture of YOUR choice displayed on it. Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, In-laws or even a circle of friends can all enjoy these personalized gifts.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12-14 Digital Photos (if making a calendar)
  • Computer
  • List of all birthdays, anniversaries and other special occassions in your circle.
  • Time (think ahead, plan now for the holiday rush)
  1. Step 1

Decide on the recipient for the gift. Is it for the grandparents, a group of friends or all of the members of your family?

  2. Step 2

Decide on the type of gift. Is it a calendar, coffee mug, throw or deck of cards? If creating a calendar, make sure to include all birthdays and anniversaries or other special occasion dates on the calendar for optimum personalization. Also, make sure to include all family members if creating a calendar. For example, if someone in the family has a birthday in October, have that persons picture showcased for the month of October. If making a calendar and there are multiple grandchildren, make sure all are showcased evenly.

  3. Step 3

Decide on the retail vendor you will use. Many are available. Visit multiple web sites and view their products. Do research on pricing and shipping costs.
