Step 1
Find the clip or the split pins that hold the brake pads in place on the brake unit.

Step 2
Pull out the pins.

Step 3
Lift and pull out the metal plates that hold the pads.

Step 4
Replace the metal plates with identical units.

Step 5
Push the far end in pointing in toward the housing on the applicable side and click the entire unit into position.

Step 6
Reinsert the clip.
