How to Enlist in the Air Force
Joining the Air Force can be a rewarding career. There are many jobs available in a variety of careers including security forces, aircraft maintenance, linguistics, computer and communication systems, public affairs, and intelligence. Enlisting is the first step to begin a new career in the Air Force.

Do the research on what career you would be interested in. There are many careers available and the Air Force website is the best place to begin.

Follow the guidelines and procedures your recruiter tells you. You will have to take a physical exam and complete an aptitude test called the ASVAB (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery) to determine job qualification.

Go to recruiting events and talk to active duty Air Force members to get a-day-in-the-life perspectives.

Take the enlisted oath after all the paperwork and preparations are complete.
