A technique that is easy and prepares the red bell peppers for many different kinds of dishes and sauces.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Using fresh red bell peppers, place them on oven rack with oven set at pre-heated 500 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Roast by turning occasionally till outer skin is completely charred, about 20-25 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Remove peppers and put in a paper bag, allowing them to steam for 10 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    With paring knife, remove the outer skin, inner core and seeds from peppers.

Tips & Warnings
  • Outer skin can also be easily removed with your fingers.
  • Check often while roasting to get them evenly charred.
