you will learn how to stop your puppy from peeing and pooping in the house and how to teach your puppy to pee and poop where and when you say.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • yourself, your puppy, patience
  1. Step 1

the next time your puppy pees or poops in your house pick the puppy up by the skin on the bask of his or her neck ( this does not hurt or harm the puppy the puppys mother would be extremely more rough with the puppy in the wild during disciplining ) and carry the puppy to where it went show the puppy the pee or poo ( contrary to popular belief do not rub the puppies face in it) then bring the puppy very close to your face and sternly and loudly say no,no,no.

  2. Step 2

carry the puppy outside to where you want it to go put it down and say loudly and sternly, here. leave the puppy in that spot and go inside and clean up the mess, ( it is important not to let the puppy see you clean up the mess this will encourage this behaviour ).go back outside and bring the puppy inside and put the puppy down showing the pup no affection.

  3. Step 3

the next time the puppy eats wait 15 minutes and pick up the puppy and bring it outside to where you want it to go, put it down and say, (pups name ) " rover go poopy ", loud and firm. either by leash or by confinement do not let the puppy leave the area untill it either goes or 5-10 minutes goes by.

  4. Step 4

if the puppy goes pee or poop bend down and in a lite and affectionate and positive reinforcing voice say " good rover, good boy, good boy, " at the same time be generous with hugs and kisses and petting vigorously. bring the puppy inside and immediattly give the pup a small treat.repeat this routine every time the pup eats.

Tips & Warnings
  • it is extremely important to feed the pup at the same time everyday.it is extremely important to bring the pup to the same designated spot everytime. it is extremely important to be firm in disciplining and generous in rewarding.
