Steps to replace brake cable

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Undo the bolt that clamps in the cable at the brake.

  2. Step 2

    Pull the brake lever and loosen the cable.

  3. Step 3

    Apply some lubricant to the new inner cable.

  4. Step 4

    Depress the brake lever and insert the cable.

  5. Step 5

    Route the inner cable.

  6. Step 6

    Clamp the end of the inner cable in at the termination point on the brake.
