How to Reduce Dog Dander

Create a pet-free zone in your home, such as the bedroom or office. Train your dog that certain areas are off limits, use dog gates or close doors to reduce dander in those rooms. To further decrease dander, keep pets off furniture and wash rugs frequently. Wherever possible, eliminate carpet and drapes, which harbor dander.
