This is an all natural ointment that is easy and inexpensive to make. It will help clear acne without chemicals or dyes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Tsp dried Calendula flowers
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup of Almond Oil
  1. Step 1

Heat Almond Oil in a saucepan over medium low heat. Add in Calendula Flowers and bring slowly to a boil. Once boiling, turn heat off immediately and cover pot with a lid. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes, until the oil has reduced by 1/2.

  2. Step 2

Strain out flowers through a colander or sieve. Oil should be yellow and clear. Stir in Lemon Juice until it is thoroughly mixed with the oil and is not floating separately.

  3. Step 3

Bottle oil in any sealable container of your choosing, but it should have a strong seal or rubber ring to protect against moisture. Store in a warm, dark, dry place.
