Everyone gets angry but here are some ways to calm yourself down.

Things You'll Need:

  • Yourself

    Talk to someone who you know will listen and give you helpful feedback.

    Write it out

    Write it out. Write down whats making you angry in a journal or an online blog.

  3. Step 3
    Do something you love
    Do something you love

    Do something you love. Eg: bake cookies, watch your favorite movie, or tv show

  4. Step 4
    Get your minds off things
    Get your minds off things

    Or do something you know will take you mind off things. Eg: clean, read a book, or exercise

  5. Step 5
    Stay logical
    Stay logical

    Try to stay logical and tell yourself that there is no reason to get upset.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to get your mind off of what is angering you.
  • You may be able to look back at things more logically once you get over your initial anger.
  • Staying angry is just bad for your physical and mental health.
