How to Italian Style Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Chicken breasts are stuffed with cheese and pepperoni with lots of Italian spice flavor all rolled up into an easy dish.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 chicken breast fillets
  • 3 slices provolone cheese
  • 18 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 pkg dry Italian salad seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Plain bread crumbs
  • wooden toothpicks
  • baking pan
  1. Step 1

    Flatten chicken breasts. Place 1/2 slice of Provolone cheese on each fillet.

  2. Step 2

    Cover cheese with slices of pepperoni.

  3. Step 3

    Roll chicken with cheese and pepperoni in the middle. Hold rolled with wooden toothpicks.

  4. Step 4

    In a small bowl mix softened (not melted) butter with a package of dry Italian salad dressing. Cover each chicken breast with the butter mixture.

  5. Step 5

    Blend seasoned and plain bread crumbs together. Roll each chicken breast in the bread crumbs until covered.

  6. Step 6

    Place in baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes until done.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use foil in pan for easy clean-up, as cheese will melt.
  • Can use plain bread crumbs only.
