How to Make Peanut Butter Edible Play Dough

Younger children like to put everything in their mouth. Here is a recipe that they can play with and eat afterwards. Great for making pretend cookies or cakes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • large bowl
  • wooden spoon
  • 1 cup measuring cup
  • 1/4 cup measuring cup
  • zip lock bag optional
  • smooth peanut butter not crunchy
  • powdered dry milk
  • powdered sugar
  • white corn syrup
  • waxpaper
  • refrigerator
  1. Step 1

    In a large bowl combine 1 cup of smooth peanut butter, 1 and 1/4 cups of powdered dry milk, 1 and 1/4 cups powdered sugar and 1 cup white corn syrup.

  2. Step 2

    Mix all ingredients and knead a little. Place bowl in refrigerator until mixture is chilled. For easy clean up cover your table with wax paper during playtime.

  3. Step 3

    This tastes like peanut butter fudge and is edible. When finished playing with the play dough you can eat it or store in zip lock bags. Fun to make and eat the things you create.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not leave the play dough in the refrigerator to chill to long or it will become hard and unusable.
