Step 1
Frustration can be either a positive or negative thing in your daily life. If you choose to be upset, angry and negative about everything frustration is in control.
-
Step 2
If you choose to see frustration with one idea that doesn't work as a stepping stone or door way to an idea that is even better you have just found the magic key to being in control of the frustration rather than it controlling you. Your outlook, appearance and will power determine how you will choose to view objects of frustration.

Step 3
By using a calendar you can mark the day that you are frustrated. Using your journal write down the incident that caused the frustration and what preceded or precipitated the feeling. After you have done this a couple of times you can sometimes see a pattern that can be avoided and the days of the calendar instead of being marked for frustration are marked for a good day today. Journaling self thoughts, self talk and or talking to another helps put the frustration in perspective and provides a way to change it where it does not have control of you any longer. Positive outlook comes easily for some people and must be learned over and over for others but don't give up. Remember it takes several things together before you are frustrated, so break those apart and you are already on your way to using it for your good. Re-read your journal how you dispursed it at another time and each time this practice will become easier and eventually your first response will keep you in control.
