Razor bumps and razor burn are no fun, especially when they are on your legs. Follow these very easy steps to avoid razor burn and have healthy, beautiful legs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a good razor
  • Aveeno shave gel
  • Dove sensitive skin body bar
  1. Step 1

The first step is to get your legs wet with warm water. Hot water will take away the moisture from your legs. Soak your legs in the warm water for about five or so minutes. You are on your way to preventing razor burn.

  2. Step 2

Wash your legs with Dove sensitive skin beauty bar. Wash away the beauty water with either warm or cool water.

  3. Step 3

Lather your legs with Aveeno shave gel for sensitive skin. Don't use too much, but use enough to completely cover your legs.

  4. Step 4

Shave your legs like you normally would.

  5. Step 5

Rinse you legs with cool water. This will help your skin retain moisture and prevent them from drying out.

  6. Step 6

Apply a moisture rich lotion like Aveeno or Curel to your legs.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't shave everyday if possible. Try shaving every other day.
  • Do not shave with cheap razors. They might save money, but they are not worth hurting your legs.
  • Long, hot baths dry out legs and can encourage razor burn. Try to limit the number of hot baths you take.
